Analysis of a slip on a long natural slope

Analysis of a slip on a long natural slope

Purpose of calculation:

A slip has developed in a long natural slope, determine the FoS along the slip plane using the critical state parameter, and the residual strength parameter. Analysis the stability of the slope using the limit state method.

Slope stability by the Simplified Bishop method

Slope stability  spreadsheet currently supports analysis by the Simplified Bishop method.

Circular surfaces, 6 soil layers, pseudostatic seismic analysis, external uniformly distributed vertical loads, user defined piezometric line (including water level above the surface) and grid search with variable radia.
